Dynamic Verb
A verb described as a ‘doing’ verb

A figure of speech in which one word/phrase is closely assosiated with another.
Bathos
Sudden change in writing from a serious or important subject to a ridiculous or ordinary one.
Pathos
Used to provoke the audience’s sympathies or appeal to their emotions
Sibillance
Multiple ‘s’ creating a hissing sound
Irony
Use of words which express the opposite of the literal meaning
Assonance
The repitition of vowel sounds in a series of words
Hyperbole
Over the top exaggeration for effect
Juxtaposition
To place two or more ideas/images close together to create further meaning for an audience
