Third person limited
the narrator is outside the story but presents the story through the thoughts and feelings of one character
Third person omniscient
The narrator is outside the story and knowns the thoughts and feelings of all the characters
Tone
The authors attitude towards a particular subject
Metaphor
speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable
Simile
a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more vivid
