What is arbitration?
Brings agreed third party to hear the sides of the dispute and come to legally binded decision to resolve problem
What is Mediation?
Where a 3rd party from each side of the dispute facilitate discussions to seek resolving the dispute
What is Negotiation?
Where both parties attempt to discuss the terms in which the dispute will result in - search for a solution (can be direct or indirectly)
What is the only type of public bill?
Personal bill - affects one or two people and begins in House of Lords
What are the two types of public bills?
Government bills - Steered through parliament by apropriate minister
Private Members bill - Sponsored by individual MP or peer
What is the parliamentary law making process?
Green paper, White paper, Draft bill, First reading, Second reading, Committee stage, Report stage, Third reading, Other house, Royal assent
