bias
A strong feeling in favour of or against one group of people, or one side in an argument, often not based on fair judgement. (partijdigheid)

Own up (to something)

To be as good as expected. (tegemoetkomen aan)
Admit (to something)
To agree that something unpleasant is true or that you have done something wrong. ((iets) toegeven)
Approve (of somebody / something)
To be pleased about something; to like somebody / something. ((iemand / iets) goedkeuren
Community service
Work (helping people) in the local community that somebody does without getting paid, eiter because they want to, or because they have been ordered to by a court as a punishment. (dienstverlening)
Deter somebody (from doing something)
To make somebody decide not to do something, especially by telling them that it would have bad results. (iemand (van iets) weerhouden)
Internet fraud
(an act of) cheating somebody in order to get money, etc. illegally, using the internet. (internetfraude)
Offence
A crime, an illegal action. (misdrijf)
Speeding fine
A sum of money that you have to pay for driving a car, etc. faster than the legal speed limit. (bekeuring voor te hard rijden)
Cultural identity
The feeling of belonging to one or more cultural groups. (culturele identiteit)
Generalize
To assume that every person in a group is the same and not look at the details. (generaliseren)
