What is the meaning of their?

A

Their- belongs to that person or those people (possession, it has an ‘i’ in it so thing of it belongs to someone it is personal)

e.g. That is their car
e.g. We have our tickets but they do not have their tickets yet
e.g. Those are their shoes
e.g. This is their dog

What is the meaning of there?

Note: I like to think of there as the opposite of Here (this can help with how you remember it)

A

There- the location/position of something the opposite of here or that something exists (or can be used in greeting e.g. Hello there)

e.g. Our car is over there (position of something)
e.g. We went to the New Forest and stayed there for a long weekend
e.g. There are some ducks (something exists)

or greeting e.g. “Hello there! How are you?”
