Between my finger and my phone the what pen rests i’ll dig with it. Here the pen changes from being a gun to a spade he’s going to use it to produce crops of poetry and he has dug through memories of his family. It changes from violence to growth
Seamus Heaney will dig in his own way but that doesn’t mean he won’t forget the old way
