Parliament feared King Charles was becoming Roman Catholic

The king often needed money, but he had to ask parliament for it.

I was the New Model Army, created by Oliver Cromwell and fair fax. The uniform was red and there were three parts, infantry, cavalry and artillery.
Infantry= foot soldiers
Cavalry= horse soldiers
Artillery=cannons
Why did parliament win?
They won because of Cromwell’s army the NMA, Calvary that he controlled

They executed him for treason
