Homage
A way of showing respect or admiration towards someone usually shown through actions or words
Ex: Making a movie about someone’s life
Melancholy
Quiet sadness or feeling of sorrow
Ex: She felt Melancholy as she looked through old photos of her child hood
Integrity
Being honest and doing the right thing
Ex: She didn’t cheat on the test because she knew it was wrong
Chivalry
Being polite, kind, respectful, brave, etc especially towards others (like knights)
Ex: Standing up for your Friend
Succulence
Usually refers to food being full of flavor or juicy
Ex: the watermelon is very succulent
Quest
Long adventure in search of something
Ex: The pirate went on a quest to find the lost treasure
Demeaning
Treating someone in a way to make them feel unimportant or lower than others
Ex: His comment about her outfit was demeaning
Anon
Short or will happen in a short time
Ex: He promised to call her anon
Assail
Strongly criticize or attack someone
Ex: The critics assailant the movie, saying it was boring and dumb
Valiant
Being brave or showing courage especially in difficult situations
Ex: The valiant firefighter rushed into the burning building
Lamentation
Showing sadness or regret
Ex: after her pet died she was in lamentation, missing the time they spent together
