Indirect characterization
Find out about a character threw thoughts speech and action as well as physical features. Over characters could also describe the character

Conflict that occurs that within someone. Emotional
External conflict
A character is in a conflict with an outside force/ other character
Plot
A sequence of events in a story
Setting
The time and place of an action in the work
Theme
The underlined message in human nature that the writer send with the reader. Generally it is not state direct’y but must be inferred
Allusion
Indirect reference to another famous work
Diction
Writers choice of words
For shadowing
Writers way of hinting a future event
Protagonist
Main character in a work of literature who is involved in the central conflict
Antagonist
Principal force against protagonist
Tone
Attitude a writer takes towards a subject
Foil
Character who provides a striking contrast to another character
