Dynamic-change through the story
static- do not change through the story
round- realistic personality
flat- only one side of their personality is revealed
stock- represent a stereotype
define mood
Authors use descriptive words to create a certain feeling in the reader
define tone
the attitude the author conveys about his/her subject through the choice of words. ex serious, light hearted
define each POV
1st- The narrator is an actual person. Pronouns like I or we are used
2nd- The author uses the pronoun you to directly address the reader
3rd-the narrator exists outside the events of the story, and relates the actions of the characters by referring to their names or by he, she, or they.
