What is a verse

A

Poems and songs are written in verse. it means that the writing is meant to be read within rhythm.

What is a stanza?

A

Poem are often written in sections called stanzas. Stanzas are similar to paragraphs. Each stanza usually has its own focus.

What is a line?

A

Poems do not always have to have sentences. instead, we count how many lines there are in a poem. so, a line is just a sentence that doesn’t end.

A

A metaphor is a comparison between two objects that are not similar. It gives the characteristic of one to the other. For example: Life is a highway.
