Rules in MLA:

A

In MLA, only the first author’s name is
inverted. Other authors’ names usually appear.

All words are capitalized in the titles of works.
The exceptions to this rule are articles,
prepositions, coordinating conjunctions, and
the to infinitives, unless they are the first or
last word.

Book titles and long works are italicized

Periodical articles (Ex: Newspapers) and other
short works are placed within the quotation
marks

The city of publication is given without a state name.
Publishers’ names are shortened.

The date of publication is the date on the title page or the most
the recent date on the copyright page.

All works cited entries must include the medium in which the
work was published, produced, or delivered.
