gossiping old woman who believes in devils and ghosts. Thinks that witches killed her baby so she assumes Betty was caught by a witch

Wife of Proctor and accused by Abigail. Knows about her husband’s affair and that Abigail hates her.
Reverend Hale
Expert on witchcraft, believes in witchcraft very strongly but he thinks it is not good that things are spiraling out of control in the courts.
