Combustion -
Cracks, distortion
Turbine wheel, case and exhaust -
Cracks, indications of warpage, overheating, erosion or burning
What is the common type of damage that is found in the hot section of a turbine engine?
Cracks that are caused by the high concentration of heat in the hot section

What inspection must be performed on an aircraft reciprocating engine if it has been operated on turbine fuel?
The inside of the cylinders must be inspected with a borescope. The oil must be changed and the filters examined, and the engine given a careful run up and operational check
