He felt a presentiment of danger as he knew that the Greeks were formidable warriors and it wasn’t a smart move to make enemies with them. Also, abducting a married woman was morally unethical and Hector knew that. Even though the Trojans were strong warriors with unbreachable walls, Hector knew the power the Greeks had and how intelligent they were and also the fact they had warriors like Achilles.

His mother, Thetis, upon hearing that Achilles will die at a young age, dipped him in the river Styx. As she held him by the heels, the water of the river which made every part of his body invulnerable didn’t touch his heel. Hence, the heel of Achilles was always vulnerable.

No, she was not able to protect him completely as the water of the river Styx did not touch his heel, making it a vulnerable part of his body.
How did Achilles meet his death?
He met his death when Paris shot a poisoned arrow and the gods guided the arrow to his heel, the only place where he was not protected.

Answer) There was a fight for it between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. The choice was to be made by Paris of Troy. The goddesses offered Paris a blessing as a bribe for the apple; Hera offered to make him the lord of Europe and Asia Minor, Athena offered him brilliance in war, and Aphrodite offered Helen of Sparta, the world’s most beautiful woman, who was at that point wedded to King Menelaus. Paris picked Aphrodite, a choice that caused the Trojan War, and eventually the end of both Paris and his city, Troy.

Oracle’s prophecy did come true. It was prophesied that Paris will bring ruin to his city Troy. That did come true as by choosing one goddess over 2 others, he made enemies with those goddesses also by abducting a married Greek woman, he also made enemies with the Greeks and the Greeks were one of the most formidable armies and were people to be afraid of due to their power and cleverness. The Greeks destroyed Troy and it was because of the decisions Paris made.

Patroclus thought that wearing Achilles’ armour would make the Trojans think that Achilles was back in the war.
