- Writ of fieri facias (writ of execution) that dockets the judgment
- writ of possession
- garnishment

A
20 years, then can be renewed for another 20

Timing to enforce judgment?
A
No action to enforce may be taken until 21 days after judgment handed down; remains with trial court during that time for post-trial motions and reconsiderations

VA uses UEFJA to enforce foreign judgments
A
Just file judgment that is authenticated under VA law with the clerk of any CC

When are costs recoverable?
A
Unless otherwise provided, party for whom judgment is given in an action or on a motion may recover his costs against the opposite party.
Costs for cases in SC/Ct. App. can be recovered by prevailing party.
