1. Boil water in kettle pour into sealable container at a safe level then measure mass of water in container.
2. Using thermometer measure initial temp of water
3. Seal container and leave for 5 minutes using a stopwatch
4. Remove lid and measure final temp
5. pour away and allow container to cool to room temperature
6. Repeat but rap into different material once sealed

2. finding that thicker is less energy transferred and smaller the temperature change of water.
