> the heat energy transfers to the cooler surroundings, which become warmer
- as the heat energy is transferred to the cooler surroundings, it dissipates.

How does a heat exchanger work?
A
> reduces the amount of heat energy that is lost
> a cool fluid is pumped through the escaping heat
-as the fluid gains more heat energy, it’s temperature rises
> the heat energy can be converted into another form of energy that’s useful again
