Law of Conservatory
Thermal energy that flows due to a difference in temperature. Heat flows from hot to cold.

Heat transfer within or between solid objects

Convection
Heat transfer due to packets of energy called photons that can travel through many substances, even empty spaces
Radiation
A material through which energy (electrical, thermal, or sound) cannot be easily transferred
Insulator
A material through which energy (electrical, thermal, or sound) can be easily transferred
Conducter
The measure average of the speed of all particles
Temperature
The total energy of all particles in an object
