A fossil fuel is an energy source which has taken millions of years. Coal, natural gas and oil are some examples.

Why is a fossil fuel bad for the environment/us?

A

Fossil fuels are bad for us and the environment because:

  • when burnt they release carbon emissions which are bad for the environment.
  • they also take millions of years to be made which means they cannot be restored again.
