Q

What is the formula for figuring out how much energy is efficient?

A

Energy efficient/how much energy is given x100. E.G: a toaster, which gives out 1000 J, uses 250 J of energy for heat and the rest for light. So that would be 100(250/1000)= 25%

Q

How much energy is efficient?
A hairdryer has 500J, and uses 200J on blowing the air, 100J on heat and the rest on sound.

A

100(300/500)= 60%
