Why would the demand for energy be higher in LICs?
They struggle economically to afford energy sources. As renewable sources are more expensive, this limits LICs access.
Why would the demand for energy be higher in NEEs (newly emerging economies)?
They are going through industrialisation meaning energy consumption rapidly grows, as does the demand.
Global trade of food, water and energy attempts to equalise the supply across the world. What does this actually achieve to do?
Benefit HICs who can afford imports, leaving LICs, especially in Africa, less advantaged in the attempt of resource redistribution.
