Glucocorticoids (increase blood glucose level and decrease protein synthesis)
Mineralcorticoids (increase water reaborption, aldosterone)
Androgens (sex hormones)
What does the Pancreas release?
Glucagon (glycogen to glucose in liver)
Insulin (lowers blood glucose)
Somatostain (supresses glucagon and insulin)
What are endorphins?
Inhibit pain perception
What is growth hormone?
What stimulates its release?
Stimulates bone and muscle growth as well as lipolysis

What hormones are in the adrenal medula?
Epinephrine (more on the heart) and norephinephrine (more on the blood vessels)
