What is an example of a fluid we could administer to promote cellular hydration?
A hypotonic fluid, such as 1/2NS, or D5W (technically isotonic in the bag, but dextrose is metabolized when it hits the veins, so then acts as hypotonic)
What is an example of a fluid we could use to decrease cerebral edema?
