Nausea/vomiting:
~ primary treatment for patient with gastro-intestinal related signs and symptoms is to:
•Abdominal/Flank Pain= Administer 12 lead in PT greater than 30 years old
•Nausea/Vomiting= record and evaluate 12 lead ECG strip for patients 50 years and older
~ rehydrate them with IV fluids
~ phenergen 12.5mg (6.25mg if greater than 64 years old) IV diluted in 100ml of NS, infused over several minutes w/ 60 drip set
Hyperventilation:
Administer O2 via NRB until hyperventilation has resolved
Asses temperature
Nose bleed contraindications for Neo-Synephrine 2ggts?
Nose bleed secondary to hypertension (=>160/110
Nose nose bleed secondary to head injury and CSF drainage
Hypersensitivity
•Note hypertension is not normal hypertension limits!!!!

- pedal brady: 3 or greater
Note: all, 3 is the magic number, except adult it says 3 but abnormal is above 3
