What are the International Labour Organisations labour standards categorised as?
- Employment Terms: which respect human rights
- Non-Discrimination: workers should be protected against discrimination
- Harassment: no worker should be subject to abuse
- Forced Labour: shouldn’t happen
- Child Labour: shouldn’t be used
What two types of discrimination are there?
Direct discrimination: when someone is treated less favourably because of a specific protected characteristic
Indirect discrimination: occur when an organisation has a policy which applies to all but disadvantages one group due to a protected characteristic
