Who was Wang Mang?
Wang Mang was an official in the Han dynasty and seized the throne and founded the Xin dynasty.
How did the Han rise to power? How was their manner or rule similar and different from the Qin?
Two rebel leaders, Liu Bang and Xiong Yu (defeated by Liu Bang) emerge from the chaos of Li Shi and Zhao Gao being murdered.
Thier rule of the Han mixed Legalist and Confucian principles. The Qin dynasty had centralized rules and encouraged social interaction, showing a more Confucian side compared to the Han dynasty.
Why did the Qin empire exist for such a short period of time?
After the first emperor dies it is unclear who us the successor to the throne because it is not mentioned in his will. This causes chaos to steal the throne and rebel leaders emerged to form the Han dynasty.
