Solemnity
The state or quality of being serious and dignified.
Melancholy
A feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause.
Ennui
A feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of occupation or excitement - “he succumbed to ennui and despair”
Crestfallen
Dispirited or defeated.
Despondent
In low spirits from loss of hope or courage.
Vexed
Annoyed, frustrated, or worried.
Morose
Sullen and ill-tempered.
