What is state one?
A crash on or seen from the airfield
What is state two?
A incident where doubt exists of the safety of the aircraft and or its occupants, or anticipation a state one
What is state three?
A precautionary measure that caters for a possible incident on the airfield or where an aircraft has crashed off the airfield, where the position if unknown.
What does TMV mean?
Trauma management vehicle
What four items does the TMV charge?
Intravenous fluid warming box
On-Board Entonox warmer
Warming pad below the portable Entonox
Charing of the torch and Portable suction unit.
What two occasions must the TMV be cleaned?
After each patient (Short clean of key contact areas)
Weekly clean
What is dress cat 1?
PCS with a high vis jacket stating we’re medics
What is dress cat 2?
PCS Respirator Medical Gloves Steel toe cap rubber boots (As required) Safety helmet (As required) Disposable coveralls should be on hand
What is dress cat 3?
Respirator Disposable coveralls worn Medical gloves Safety helmet Steel toe cap rubber boots
First medic on the scene is to do what?
Save lives
