- Airspeed – 68 KIAS.
- Fuel Shutoff Valve – ON (push full in).
- Fuel Selector Valve – BOTH.
- Auxiliary Fuel Pump Switch – ON.
- Mixture – RICH (if restart has not occurred).

FIRE DURING START ON GROUND
A
- Ignition Switch – START, Continue Cranking
If engine fails to start:
- Throttle – FULL OPEN.
- Mixture – IDLE CUT OFF.
- Cranking – CONTINUE.
- Fuel Shutoff Valve – OFF (Pull Full Out).
8: Auxiliary Fuel Pump Switch – OFF.

- Fuel Shutoff Valve – Pull Out (OFF).

- Master Switch – OFF.

- Vents, Cabin Air, Heat – CLOSED.
- Fire Extinguisher – ACTIVATE.
