- Fire Extinguisher - ACTUATE (if required)

- Boost Pumps - OFF

- Max Continuous Power - SET
- Airspeed - MAINTAIN (take-off speed or above)
- Landing Gear - UP
- Power Lever (inoperative engine) - IDLE
(Let autofeather fully feather failed eng prop before moving power lever)
- Propeller (inoperative engine) - FEATHER
- Airspeed - BEST RATE-OF-CLIMB (after obstacle clearance altitude is reached)

- Reduce power on operative engine as required to maintain control.
- Lower nose to accelerate above minimum control speed.

- Control Wheel Trim Switch - Attempt to trim in opposite direction of runway

- Airspeed - 182 KIAS MAX
Emergency Exit (cabin window emergency hatch)

- Emergency Release Hatch Cover - OPEN
- Release Button - PUSH (if release button will not push PULL hooks to overcome residual friction and then PUSH the release button)
- PULL handle and PUSH out hatch.
