- Flaps- retract
- Mixture- idle cut off
- Ignition switch- off
- Master-off

- Fuel shutoff valve-off
- Flaps as required
- Master-off

- Carb heat- on
- Primers- in and locker
- fuel shutoff valve- off
- Mixture-rich
- ignition switch-both

Engine fire on ground
A
Keep cranking
If engine starts
- Power-1700rpm few minutes
- engine shutdown
If engine fails to start 1. keep cranking 2.Fire extinguisher ready 3.secure engine Master-off Ignition-off Fuel shutoff valve-off 4. extinguish fire 5. inspect damage

- Mixture-idle cut off
- Fuel shutoff valve-off
- Master-off
- Cabin heat and air- off
- Airspeed-85 KIAS( or find incombustible mixture speed)
- Forced Landings

Electrical fire in flight
A
- Master- Off
- All other switch- Off (except ignition)
- Close vent, heat
- Activate fire extinguisher
- Master- On
- Circuit breakers check for faulty circuit (no reset)
- Radio/ Electronic switches on one by one. Localize problem
- Open vents, Cabin air

- Master- Off
- Vents- Closed
- Fire extinguisher- activate

A
- Nav light- off
- Strobe lights- off
- Pitot heat- off
- Sideslip, keep flame away from wing

Ammeter shows excessive rate of charge
A
- Alternator-off
- Nonessential equipments -Off
- Flight- terminate as soon as possilbe

Low voltage light illuminate during flight
A
- Radio- Off
- Master- Off (both sides)
- Master- On
- Low-Voltage Light- Check Off
- Radio- On
If Low Voltage light still on
- Alternator- off
- Nonessential radio, electrical equipment- Off
- Flight- terminate as soon as possible
