- Identify affected engine
- Resp. ENG MAIN switch - IDLE, check indications, then OFF
5a) Resp. Throttle (if req.) - Twist to min. fuel stop, check, then shut off - Check Fire light
a) Still on - LAND IMMEDIATELY
b) Extinguished - LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

- Identify affected engine
- Alternatives (depending on WX both engines are req. for ldng.):
a) Resp. ENG MAIN switch - IDLE, check indications, the OFF
a1) Resp. throttle (if req.) - Twist to min. fuel stop, check, then shut
off.
OR:
b) Resp. ENG MAIN switch - IDLE then FLY for landing

- Throttle (affected engine) - Adjust slowly to set 80% N1
a) simultaneously adjust collective to maintain NR - During landing - ROLL OFF THROTTLE before lowering collective

a) if out of limits: - Collective - Reduce power as much as possible
b) if oil temp remains out of limits: - LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Memory Item: Engine Overspeed

- Check Triple Tach NRO:
a) If NRO is driven up by engine = Governor Failure - Collective - Raise to Reduce NR within Limits
- Identify affected engine
- Throttle affected engine - Roll Off until normal engine supports NR
- Collective - Adjust to maintain limits
- Resp. ENG MODE SEL - MAN
- Throttle (affected engine) - Roll to 20-30% TQ
- Collective - Readjust as necessary without changing throttle
- During landing - ROLL OFF THROTTLE BEFORE Lowering Collective

- Fiber Optic Gyro -> Pitch & Roll SAS FAIL
