XMSN OIL PRES
Transmission oil pres low
Reduce power land as soon as possible
XMSN OIL HOT
Transmission oil temp above limits
Reduce power observe temp if not within limits- Land as soon as possible
ENGINE OIL PRESS
Engine oil pressure below normal
Reduce power-land as soon as possible
ENGINE RPM LOW
Low engine RPM
Increase engine RPM within limits
ROTOR BRAKE
Pucks not fully retracted
Check handle-OFF- Land as soon as possible if light stays on
FIRE
Steady light:
Engine Fire- FUEL switch on overhead ENGINE FIRE panel- Close- Actuate EXTINGUISHER switch- Land as soon as possible
Flashing light:
Smoke in baggage compartment- land as soon as possible
ENGINE FIRE DURING FLIGHT- ENGINE COMPARTMENT
Twist grip- close Immediately enter autorotation Fuel- OFF Fire extinguisher- discharge Battery switch- OFF Generator switch- OFF AUTOROTATION DO NOT RESTART UNTILL CAUSE DETERMINED
ENGINE FIRE DURING START
Overload of fuel in combustion chamber and delayed ignition flame from tailpipe
Twist grip- Close and continue to motor engine
Fuel- OFF
FIRE BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT
Reduce power to min required
Land as soon as possible and inspect tail boom area for damage
CABIN VENTIALATION
Toxic smoke
Turn ventilation blower- ON
Open all accessible windows cabin doors vents for max ventilation
Land as soon as possible
ENGINE FAILURE
low rotor RPM below 89% +-1%
RED illumination
AUDIO signal if switched on
Immediately execute autorotation and investigate power failure
DIRECTIONAL CONTROL FAILURE
