- ISS MODE SELECTOR - SOLO
- SEAT SAFETY PIN - INSTALL (BOTH)
- PARKING BRAKE - AS REQ
- CANOPY - OPEN
*If canopy cannot be opened or situation requires right side egress
- CFS HANDLE SAFETY PIN - REMOVE (BOTH)
- CFD HANDLE - ROTATE 90 DEGREES CCW AND PULL (BOTH)
- UPPERS, LOWERS, LEGS - RELEASE (BOTH)
- BAT, GEN, AND AUX BAT SWITCHES - OFF
- EVACUATE AIRCRAFT

- PCL - IDLE
2. BRAKES - AS REQ
ENGINE FAILURE IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKEOFF
SUFFICIENT RUNWAY REMAINING STRAIGHT AHEAD
- AIRSPEED - 110 KNOTS (MIN)
- PCL - AS REQ
- EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR HANDLE - PULL (AS REQ)
- FLAPS - AS REQ
ENGINE FAILURE DURING FLIGHT
- ZOOM/GLIDE - 125 KNOTS (MIN)
- PCL - OFF
- INTERCEPT ELP
- AIRSTART - ATTEMPT IF WARRANTED
*If airstart not warranted
- FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE - PULL
- EXECUTE FORCED LANDING OR EJECT
IMMEDIATE AIRSTART
PMU NORM
- PCL - OFF
- STARTER SWITCH - AUTO/RESET
- PCL - IDLE, ABOVE 13% N1
- ENGINE INSTRUMENTS - MONITOR ITT, N1 AND OIL PX
*If airstart is unsuccessful
- PCL - OFF
- FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE - PULL
- EXECUTE FORCED LANDING OR EJECT
*If airstart is successful
- PCL - AS REQ, AFTER ~67% N1
- PEL - EXECUTE

- Confirm: BOOST PUMP - ON IGNITION - ON
- STARTER switch - NORM
- BLEED AIR INFLOW - NORM
- GENERATOR - Confirm ON, RESET if necessary
- OBOGS - AS REQ

POWER CHANGES / LOSS OF POWER / PROP FEATHER
- PCL - MID RANGE
- PMU SWITCH - OFF
- PROP SYS CIRCUIT BREAKER - PULL, IF Np STABLE BELOW 40%
- PCL - AS REQ
- If power sufficient for continued flight
5. PEL - EXECUTE - If power insufficient to complete PEL
- PROP SYS CIRCUIT BREAKER - RESET, AS REQ
- PCL - OFF
- FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE - PULL
- EXECUTE FORCED LANDING OR EJECT
COMPRESSOR STALL
- PCL - SLOWLY RETARD BELOW STALL THRESHOLD
- DEFOG SWITCH - ON
- PCL - SLOWLY ADVANCE, AS REQ
- If power is sufficient for continue flight
4. PEL - EXECUTE - If power is insufficient to complete PEL
- PCL - OFF
- FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE - PULL
- EXECUTE FORCED LANDING OR EJECT
INADVERTENT DEPARTURE FROM CONTROLLED FLIGHT
- PCL - IDLE
- CONTROLS - NEUTRAL
- ALTITUDE - CHECK
- RECOVER FROM UNUSUAL ATTITUDES
FIRE IN FLIGHT
*If fire is confirmed
- PCL - OFF
- FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE - PULL
- If fire is extinguished
3. FORCED LANDING - EXECUTE - If fire is NOT extinguished or Forced Landing Impractical
4. EJECT (BOTH) - If fire not confirmed
5. PEL - EXECUTE
SMOKE AND FUME ELIMINATION / ELECTRICAL FIRE
- OBOGS - CHECK
A. SUPPLY LEVER - ON
B. CONCENTRATION LEVER - MAX
C. PRESSURE LEVER - EMERGENCY
Extra from PCL:
- Descend below 10,000’ MSL - INITIATE (AS REQ)
- PRESSURIZATION switch - RAM DUMP
- BLEED AIR INFLOW - OFF
*If smoke/fire persists:
- BAT, GEN - OFF
- AUX BAT - OFF (AS REQ)
- CFS handle safety pin - REMOVE (BOTH)
- CFS - ROTATE 90 CCW and PULL (IF NECESSARY)
If smoke/fire ceases:
- Restore Electrical Power - AS REQ
- Land as soon as POSSIBLE
CHIP DETECTOR WARNING
- PCL - MINIMUM NECESSARY TO INTERCEPT ELP; AVOID UNNECESSARY PCL MOVEMENTS
- PEL - EXECUTE
OIL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION / LOW OIL PRESSURE
*If only AMBER OIL PX caution illuminates
- TERMINATE MANEUVER
- CHECK OIL PRESSURE; IF NORMAL, CONTINUE OPERATIONS
*If RED OIL PX Warning illuminates AND/OR AMBER OIL PX caution > 5 sec
- PCL - MINIMUM NECESSARY TO INTERCEPT ELP; AVOID UNNECESSARY PCL MOVEMENTS
- PEL - EXECUTE
LOW FUEL PRESSURE
- PEL - EXECUTE
