- Brakes … Hand control to other occupant if practicable
If situation not rectified:
- Nosewheel Steering … Steer in safe direction
- Brakes … Attempt several applications
If braking control is not regained:
- Nosewheel Steering … Steer towards safe area or retardant surface if possible
- Condition Lever … CUT OFF / FEATHER

- BATT voltage … Check 23V min
If BATT voltage <23V:
- AVIONICS MASTER … OFF, IDU 1 >TO ESSNTL
- BATT … Check 23V min
If BATT voltage still <23V, do not attempt Airstart:
- Carry out Forced Landing or Abandoning
- FUEL Tank Selector … As required
- FUEL PUMP … ON
- STBY FUEL PUMP … AUTO
- Airspeed … 90 to 105 KIAS
- START Switch … BLOW until TOT <150°C
- CONT IGN … ON
- START Switch … Trigger START, release OFF
When N1 accelerates through 15%:
- Condition Lever … HIGH
- TOT Rise … Check within 5 sec
- Oil pressure … Within limits
When engine has stabilised at IDLE (60% N1 or above):
- POWER Lever … Increase to achieve safe flight
If Airstart unsuccessful:
- Condition Lever … CUT OFF / FEATHER
- START Switch … BLOW for at least 1 sec, then OFF
FORCED LANDING (E-20)
- Airspeed … 90 to 105 KIAS
- POWER Lever … FI
- Condition Lever … CUT OFF / FEATHER
- FUEL Tank Selector … OFF
- CONT IGN … OFF
- STBY FUEL PUMP … OFF
- FUEL PUMP … OFF

LOW OIL PRESSURE (E-26)
- Establish S&L Erect Flight with +g
- POWER Lever … Min required
- OIL P and OIL T … Check
If warning clears within 5 sec:
- Continue sortie - Ensure Aerobatic & Spinning Limitations
If warning not cleared and appeared during or immediately after reduced or -g flight, and OIL P is still below 35 psi:
- Apply +g, up to 4g for 2 sec, to attempt to re-seat the Inverted Oil Valve
If warning clears following step 5:
- No further reduced or -g flight
- Land as soon as practicable
If OIL P remains below 35 psi in S&L erect flight:
- Land ASAP, be prepared for Forced Landing
- Consider precautionary engine shutdown in flight using Engine Fire / Mechanical Engine Failure (E16)
OIL CHIP (E-27)

- OIL P and OIL T … Monitor
WARNING: The engine could fail without further warning.
- Land ASAP, be prepared for Forced Landing (E-20)
FUEL MALFUNCTION (E-30)

WARNING: Aerobatics prohibited, Engine Failure may occur without further warning.
- Fuel QTY and asymmetry … Check
- FUEL TRANSFER PUMP … ON
- FUEL Tank Selector … EMERG Transfer
- Fuel pressure … Check restored above 14 psi
- Land ASAP, be prepared for Forced Landing
