What are the paediatric emergency adrenaline doses
less than 6 months- 100- 150mcg (0.1-0.15ML)
6months to 6 years= 150mcg (0.15ML)
6 - 12 years= 300mcg (0.3ml)
older than 12= 500mcg (0.5ml)

Give glucose if hypoglycaemic

How is status epilepticus defined
when seizure lasts longer than 5 mins
when theyre 2 seizures without full recovery within 30 mins
What is the dose of hydrocortisone given in acute asthma
IV 100MG hydrocrotisone over 6 hours
Emergency chlorphenamine
10 mg for 1 dose, to be repeated if necessary; maximum 4 doses per day.
IM OR IV
Atropine post MI
500mcg every 3-4 mins
MAX 3mg

Hypocalcaemia
calcium gluconate
10–20 mL, calcium gluconate injection 10%
hyperkalaemia
30 mL, calcium gluconate 10%

Insulin- 10 units in 50ml with 50% dextrose over 15 mins
Hypoglycaemia
If the patient is alert, a quick-acting carbohydrate may be given
If the patient is unconscious or unable to swallow, subcutaneous or intramuscular injection glucagon may be given. 1 mg, if no response within 10 minutes intravenous glucose must be given
Alternatively, intravenous 10% glucose in 50 mL solution may be given through a large vein
How is glucagon used to mx hypoglycaemia
1 mg, if no response within 10 minutes intravenous glucose must be given
Diazepam IV
IV 10 mg for 1 dose, then 10 mg for 1 dose, to be administered 10 minutes after first dose if required.
Diazepam Rectal
10–20 mg for 1 dose, then 10–20 mg for 1 dose, to be administered 5–10 minutes after first dose if required.
Lorazepam
IV 4mg
Salbutamol nebs
2.5 - 5mg one dose intitally
