Levonorgestrel 1.5mg: up to 72 hours
Ulipristal acetate 30mg: up to 120 hours
Copper IUD: up to 120 hours
What medications can reduce the efficacy of emergency contraception?
Cytochrome P450 inducers e.g. carbamazepine
(Levo and Uli both metabolised in the liver)
