refer because Cu-IUD can not be given over 5 days since likley date of ovulation and oral EHC is ineffective
if the days from UPSI is unknown but it is within 5 or less days of ovulation what should be done/given?
Offer Cu-IUD or oral EHC
however run risk of ovulation already occurred
if the days from UPSI is unknown and it is outside the 5 days since ovulation or it is unknown what should be done/given?
offer oral EHC however may not prevent ovulation
when does levonelle become ineffective after UPSI
96 hrs
if a pt has a bMI Of 26 or weight 70kg what should be offered if UPSI occurred under 96hrs
ella one is used despite weight
levonelle can be given as double dose
if bmi is under 26 or weight 70kg
ella one still first line
second line levonelle
enzyme inducing drugs- WHAT SHOULD BE GIVEN

if not then a 3mg dose of levonelle
if under age of 16 then need to refer
if women takes progestrogen only 5 days after taking ella one what is the concern

severe asthma controlled by oral glucocorticoids
