What are common causes os psoriasiform rash?
A
- Lithium
- Beta-blockers

What is urticaria and how is it treated?
A
- Itchy, wheals
- Immune mediated type I allergic IgE response
- Non-immune mediated direct mast cell degranulation (e.g. antibiotics, opiates, NSAIDs and contrast media)
- Treat with antihistamines, steroids and immunosuppression

What’s the difference between pemphigoid and pemphigus?
A
- Antibodies to various skin components
- Pemphigoid is full thickness depth of the skin (remember pehmhigoiD)
- Pemphigus is superfiscial (remember PemphiguS)

What is dermatitis herpitiformis associated with?
A
- Coeliac disease

What are toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) and Steven Johnson Syndrome (SJS)?
A
- Disease spectrum SJS->TEN
- If <10% of skin involvement then SJS
- Most severe mucous membrane involvement

What is erythema multiforme associated with?
A
- Target lesions (at least 3 ring components)
- Associated with HSV and EBV
