Engine Failure/Fire or Master Warning Below V1
Brakes - As Required
Throttles - Idle
Speed Brakes - Extend
Thrust Reversers - Deploy on unaffected engine
Engine Failure/Fire or Master Warning Above V1
Rotate - Vr
Landing Gear - Up (after positive rate)
Climb - V2 until 1500’ AGL
Engine Failure During Coupled Approach
Power - Increase operating engine as needed
Autopilot and Yaw Damper - Off
Airspeed - Vapp
Rudder Trim - Toward the operating engine as needed
Flaps - T/O and APP
Emergency Restart - Two Engines
Ignition - Both On
Boost Pumps - Both On
Throttles - Idles
If Altitude Allows - Increase Airspeed to 200KIAS
Engine Fire (lights illuminated)
Throttle (affected engine) - Idle
~If Light Remains On~
Engine Fire Switch - Lift Cover and Push
Either Illuminated Bottle Armed Light - Push
Electrical Fire or Smoke
Oxygen Masks - Don and EMER
Oxygen Microphone Switches - Mic Oxy Mask
Cabin Decompression (cabin alt 1000’ warning light on)
Oxygen Masks - Don and 100% Oxygen
Oxygen Microphone Switches - Mic Oxy Mask
Emergency Descent - As Required
Emergency Descent
AP Trim Disconnect - Push
Throttles - Idle
Speed Brakes - Extend
Airplane Pitch Attitude - Initially target 25 degrees nose down
Battery Overheat
Amperage - Note
Battery Switch - EMER
Amperage - Note Decrease
Thrust Reverser Deploy on Takeoff below V1
Brakes - As Required
Throttles - Idle
Speed Brakes - Extend
Thrust Reverser - Both Deploy
Thrust Reverser Deploy on Takeoff above V1
Emergency Stow Switch - EMER (affected engine)
Positive Rate of Climb - Gear up
~Do not exceed 125KIAS until T/R stows~
At 400’ AGL - Retract Flaps at V2+10 and accelerate
~Do not exceed 200KIAS~
Throttle (affected engine) - Normal Operation
Thrust Reverser Deployment in Flight
Control Wheel/Autopilot - Grip/Disengage
(Airplane tends to pitch up and roll toward reverser)
Emergency Stow Switch - EMER (affected engine)
Throttle (affected engine) - Check Idle
Airspeed - Reduce to 125KIAS or below after T/R stows, do no exceed 200KIAS
Thrust Reverser Unlock Light ON in Flight
Emergency Stow Switch - EMER (affected engine)
Thrust Reverse Levers - Check Levers Stowed (full forward)
Autopilot Malfunction
AP Trim Disc - Push
Emergency Evacuation
Throttles - Both Off
LH/RH Engine Fire Switches - Both Press
LH/RH Fire Bottle Armed Switches - Both Press (if fire suspected)
Battery Switch - Off
Airplane and Immediate Area - Check for best escape route
~If through cabin door~
Cabin Door - Open
Move away from airplane
~If through escape hatch~
Escape hatch - Remove and Throw hatch out of airplane
Move away from airplane
