A
- vary widely
- poor feeding
- sleepiness
- fast breathing when the duct is starting to close
- collapsed baby in cardiogenic shock where closure is imminent

Management of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) in a child

- vagal manoeuvres
- rapid bolus of IV adenosine
- synchronous DC shock
Management depends upon the clinical status of the child
