Hot or Hung Start, No light up
- Fuel lever off
- Starter run for 30 sec
- Ignition off
- Starter limitations observe

If Oil Press less than 40 PSI after Start:
- Fuel off
- Complete engine shutdown checklist

Possible RCR Failure (starter may still be powered)
- Fuel lever off
- Master off

Engine Fire on Water
If able proceed to dock or shore, don life jackets, stop a/c considering wind direction.
- Power lever idle
- Prop lever feather
- Fuel lever off
- Fuel emergency fuel off
- Ignition off
- Boost pump off
- P3 Heater off
- Communicate (mayday/pax)
- Sat tracker/ELT
- Master off
- Fire Extinguisher
- Evacuate

Engine Fire in Flight (contained in exhaust stack)
- Reduce power to control flame/ITT
- Land as soon as practical
- Complete Engine Fire on water checklist

Engine Fire in Flight (uncontained)
Lower nose immediately to attain 100 mph, find a suitable landing area.
- Power idle
- Prop feather
- Fuel lever off
- Fuel emergency off

- Sat tracker/ELT
- Master switch off
- Fire extinguisher
- Evacuate
Cockpit/Cabin Fire or Smoke
Prepare to land immediately. Pax may be able to help extinguish fire given altitude. Keep cockpit windows closed unless smoke too strong. Turn on Sat tracker and ELT, mayday call.

Suspected Electrical Fire (Fumes)
Land as soon as possible. Make radio call if possible before shutting master off. Select all electrical switches off, Sat tracker on. If fuel pressure remains below 5 psi the engine will continue to run but not for climb or go around power.

Lower nose immediately for 85 mph, look for suitable landing area.
If time and alt:
- Flaps as req’d
- Idle, igniters, unstow
If time and alt insufficient:
- Flaps as req’d

- Prop feather

- Fuel emergency off
- Ignition off
- Boost pump off
- P3 heat off
- Communicate
- Sat tracker/ELT
- Master off

Lower nose for 100 mph, find landing area
If time and alt permit:
Idle, igniters unstow
If time and alt insufficient:
- Flaps as req’d
- Power idle
- Prop feather
- Fuel off
- Fuel emergency off
- Ignition
- Boost pump off
- P3 heat off
- Communicate
- Sat tracker/ELT
- Master

Find a place to land, assume it will fail
Oil Pressure Caution Light On
- Oil Pressure Switch confirm on (MVP only?)
If oil pressure gauge below 40 psi land with min power, expect it to fail

Prop Over speed - persistent Np over 2200
QRH
- Prop limit to 2420
- Prop test switch on
If unable or reduce RPM
- Power reduce, speed not below 1.3 x Vs (approx 90)
- Increase load on prop if necessary
- Land as soon as practical

Gen Fail Warning Light On
QRH:
Overvoltage condition is sensed by the regulator
- Volt/Load Meter confirm
- Overvoltage switch confirm
- Turn off all non essential electrical equipment
- Land as soon as practical
Caution: Do not cycle the gen output switch or gen overvoltage switch as this can severely damage the generator and related components.
