1) CONDITION LEVERCUT-OFF / FEATHER Note Max ITT indicated
2) STARTER ON For 20 seconds observe ITT decrease
3) STARTER RESET
4) Monitor the engine during deceleration
Hung Start
1) Condition Lever CUT-OFF / FEATHER
2) Starter RESET
3) Monitor the engine during deceleration
4) Inform maintenance. A Dry Motoring Run procedure will be required
No Start
1) Condition Lever CUT-OFF / FEATHER
2) Starter RESET Inform maintenance. A Dry Motoring Run procedure will be required
Rejected Take-off (not engine related)
- PCL IDLE
- Reverse As required
- Braking As required
IF AIRCRAFT CANNOT BE STOPPED ON THE REMAINING RUNWAY: - PCL IDLE
- Condition Lever CUT-OFF - FEATHER
- Fuel Emergency Shut Off Press latch down and pull lever up
- Gangbar or (MASTER) Operate
Engine Failure Before Rotation
- PCL IDLE
- Braking As required
IF RUNWAY OVERRUN OR COLLISION IS LIKELY, THEN: - Condition Lever CUT-OFF - FEATHER
- Fuel Emergency Shut Off Press latch down and pull lever up
- Gangbar or (MASTER) Operate
ENGINE FAILURE AFTER ROTATION — LANDING GEAR DOWN
- If altitude is not sufficient to select a runway or field Land straight ahead, turning only to avoid obstructions
- Flaps 40°
- Final approach speed
- Airspeed 98 KIAS, Flaps 15°
84 KIAS, Flaps 40° - PCL IDLE
- Condition Lever CUT-OFF/ FEATHER
- Fuel Emergency Shut Off Press latch down and pull lever up
AFTER TOUCHDOWN: - Gangbar or (MASTER) Operate
ENGINE FAILURE AFTER ROTATION — LANDING GEAR UP (TOTAL POWER LOSS)
- Landing Gear DOWN
- N ESNTL Bus Override Switch OVERRIDE
- Flaps 40°
- Airspeed 98 KIAS, Flaps 15°
84 KIAS, Flaps 40° - PCL IDLE
- Condition Lever CUT-OFF / FEATHER
- Fuel Emergency Shut Off Press latch down and pull lever up
AFTER TOUCHDOWN: - Gangbar or (MASTER) Operate
ENGINE FAILURE IN FLIGHT — PARTIAL POWER LOSS
- PCL IDLE
- MOR LeverPull upwards and move slowly forward until engine responds wait and let engine stabilize.
IF ENGINE COMPRESSOR STALLS AND-OR ITT IS EXCEEDED: - MOR Lever Retard and move very slowly forward
IF ENGINE FALLS BELOW 50% Ng: - Starter Push for 2 seconds
5.MOR Lever Move forward to required power (Ng > 80%)
6.Land as soon as practical.
ENGINE FAILURE IN FLIGHT — TOTAL POWER LOSS
- PCL IDLE

ENGINE FIRE — ON GROUND
- PCL IDLE
- Condition Lever CUT-OFF / FEATHER
- ECS Emergency Shut Off PULL
- Fuel Emergency Shut Off Press latch down and pull lever up
- Radio Make Emergency Call (SOB, Fuel, DGoods)
- Electrical Power OFF (Use GANGBAR)
- Parking Brake OFF (if possible)
- Aircraft Evacuate
- Fire Extinguish (if possible)
ENGINE FIRE — IN FLIGHT
- Engine Power Reduce to minimum acceptable according to flight situation
- ECS Emergency Shut Off PULL
- Oxygen Masks ON
- Passenger Oxygen Selector ON
- Confirm that a Fire Exists
If fire exist: - Fuel Emergency Shut Off PULL
- Condition Lever CUT-OFF / FEATHER
PROPELLER — LOW PITCH
- PCL Ensure Forward of Idle Detent
IF IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO MAINTAIN SPEED AND HEIGHT: - Condition Lever CUT-OFF - FEATHER
PROPELLER OVERSPEED
- PCL REDUCE POWER

PROPELLER UNDERSPEED IN FLIGHT
- PCL INCREASE POWER

- PCL IDLE
- Condition Lever CUT-OFF-FEATHER (feather prop)
- Aircraft Configuration Landing Gear up and Flaps 0°
MAXIMUM RANGE DESCENT — AFTER ENGINE FAILURE — DUAL BATTERY
- PCL IDLE
- Condition Lever CUT-OFF-FEATHER (feather prop)
- Aircraft Configuration Landing Gear up and Flaps 0°
MAXIMUM RATE DESCENT
- PCL IDLE
- Landing Below 177 KIAS Gear DOWN
- Aircraft Speed Vmo / Mmo
- Oxygen Masks Prepare. Put on before cabin altitude exceeds 12,500 ft
- Passenger Oxygen Auto.
Check contents. Calculate oxygen duration and check flow to passengers.
COCKPIT-CABIN FIRE, SMOKE, OR FUMES
- Oxygen Masks ON (all occupants)
- Crew Oxygen 100%
- Passenger Oxygen Selector ON
- If at Altitude, Initiate a Descent to below 12,500 ft.
- Smoke Evacuation Procedure (Refer to EMERGENCY Procedures Carry out if required (SOP Page 71).
- Fire Extinguisher Use if required
- Proceed to Nearest Airfield
LOW FUEL PRESSURE
- Power Reduce to minimum to sustain flight
2. Fuel Pumps ON
BATTERY HOT
- Overhead Panel Identify the battery overtemp (if second battery installed)
- Battery charge Check current
IF CHARGE CURRENT IS HIGH: - Battery OFF (Do not select ON again)
BATTERY THERMAL RUNAWAY
- Overhead Panel Identify the battery overtemp (if second battery installed)
- Battery OFF
INVERTER FAILURE
- Inverter switch (Overhead) Select alternate inverter
CABIN PRESSURIZATION FAILURE
IF CABIN PRESSURE DIFF > 5.75 PSI
- Pressure Indication Check
CABIN PRESSURIZATION FAILURE IF CABIN ALTITUDE > 10,700 ft
- Oxygen Masks ON
- Passenger Oxygen Selector AUTO/ON
- Passengers INSTRUCT to don masks
INADVERTENT PUSHER OPERATION
- Control Wheel HOLD against Pusher action
- PUSHER INTR Switch PRESS and HOLD
- PUSHER SYS CB PULL (CB - L B3)
INADVERTENT SHAKER OPERATION
- AOA Decrease
