It’s been quite a ride! emerginC was started in 1997 in my studio apartment in Manhattan with a single product (and no money!)–our now classic vitamin C serum, one of the most stable and effective on the market. From there, we developed a second product, then a third, with no clear plan how to move forward, but an uncompromising commitment to making products that WORK! After all, we were building emerginC by word of mouth and if our clients weren’t happy with the results, there was no way for us to stay afloat.
Today, we are sold in over 12 countries (and counting!), have 70 or so products in our skin care arsenal, and you can find our amazing products and treatments available in THE top spas around the world, coveted by top models and a-list celebrities alike. All the while, we have never compromised our commitment to providing top quality, cutting edge formulations. emerginC was one of the first cosmeceutical brands to take out parabens and synthetic fragrance and we have also taken a leading industry role in building a sustainable company, with a keen eye to reducing our impact on the environment. We started an industry-first “buy one, plant one” program, whereby we plant a viable, indigenous tree in a non-harvest location for EVERY retail product sold, so we (and you) are constantly giving back. We run our office and manufacture most of our products with wind power. We use paper from sustainably managed forests and are constantly on the lookout for new technologies that both improve the effectiveness of our products and reduce our environmental impact. Our scientific organics range (100% natural, minimum 70% organic) delivers a new level of quality to natural products, delivering results as impressive and as quickly as our signature range.
