How does epigenesis work?
A
The theory that an embryo develops progressively from an undifferentiated egg cell.
Mosaic Development:
Cell division divides egg into parts of different potential
Regulative development:
Communication between cells instructs development
-complexity gradually emerges
-cell sends signals to determine where they are

A
Both occur.
Usually start with some mosaic, then use cell communication.
