so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
Joshua 1:8-9
“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

- It is the father’s God-given responsibility to train his children. (Ephesians 6:4)

- The words spoken to a child will determine his destiny. (Proverbs 18:21)
Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

It is folly and shame to him.
1 Peter 3:8-9
To sum up, all of you be harmonious,
sympathetic,
brotherly,
kindhearted,
and humble in spirit;
not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead;
for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.
