A

Portraits - many wealthy nobles had one in their home to show loyalty, offensive portraits burned
Personal - keen to avoid religious conflict, well educated, could speak 4 languages
Royal progresses - tours in the hone counties (around London) for 6 weeks in summer
Appearance - expensive clothes & jewels, she actually had scars from smallpox, black teeth and thin hair
Publications - 60 printing presses made censorship easy
