what happen in the northan rebellion
the earl or northumberland and the earl of westmoreland came together and stormed into durham but elizabeth imprisoned the duke of norfolk and so plan didnt go to plan and mary was imprisoned
what happened in the ridolfie plot
roberto ridolfie was a spy for the pope he tried to get the spanish troops to invade so elizabeth sent troops to distroy them before they reached her after they excuted the duke or norfolk
what happened in the throck morton plot
throckmorton made a plan where france and spain would invade and put mary on the throne but elizabeths spys saw it coming and put throckmorton under watch so the plan never went off
what happened in the babington plot
they wanted spain and france to come excute elisabeth and replace her with mary but they sent a letter to mary saying they plan on killing lizzy so she excuted mary becuase she was apart of it
how did elizabeth help keep order while ruling
at the start of-she made the religouse settlement to keep people quite and to avoid the people not liking her
in the middle - she used spies to watch people and make sure no one tries anything
toward the end -she used violence and she killed people to keep fear in the people

why was there so much poverty
agricultural failures -price of food increase cos there is less of it
population increase- the birth rate is going up more mouths to feed more exspensive
diffrent types of poor in elizabethan england
the helpless poor- sick and old provided a place to stay
deserving poor /able bodied poor- people who could work but couldnt find a job but wanted to work
idle poor - lazy people and they would threaten them with a punishment
