Dysuria
Difficult or painful urination
Polyuria/diuresis
The formation and excretion of excessive amount of urine
Usually UOP > 2.5-3L /24h
Urgency
Sudden, strong desire to void
Frequency
Voiding at frequent intervals, that is, more than four to six times per day(increased incidence of voiding)
Nocturia
Voiding two or more times during normal sleeping hours / Awakening at night to urinate
Hematuria
Presence of blood in the urine
Oliguria
Low urine output, usually less than 500mL / day or 30mL / hour for an adult.
Anuria
Urine formation and excretion is less than 100mL / 24h or oml / 24h
A sign of renal failure
Proteinuria
Excessive amounts of protein in the urine.
Indicates kidney damage.
Glycosuria
Presence of glucose in urine
Hesitancy
A delay and difficulty in initiating voiding.
Enuresis
Involuntary urination in children beyond age
Nocturnal enuresis
Bed wetting during sleep
Diurnal diuresis
Daytime diuresis
Pneumaturia
Passage of gas or air in urine
